UNLIMEAT Quiche

What You'll Need

  • 0.5lb UNLIMEAT Pulled Pork Original
  • 12 inch pie crust  
  • 3 stalks aspargus 
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk 
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream 
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt 
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper 
  • 1 cup Gruyère cheese, shredded

UNLIMEAT Pulled Pork Quiche

How to Make:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Carefully place the dough into a 9-inch pie plate. Crimp the edges and chill it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Cover the bottom of the pastry with a round of parchment paper and add enough dried beans or peas to partly fill the shell. Bake 10 minutes.
  4. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F. Remove and discard the beans and parchment paper and set the pastry-lined pie plate aside.
  5. Crumble the UNLIMEAT pulled pork, onion and cheeses over the inside of the pastry.
  6. In a large bowl, beat the eggs, whole milk, heavy cream, salt, and pepper together and whisk until completely combined. Whisk in add-ins and then pour into crust. Top with asparagus.
  7. Bake the quiche until the center is just about set, about 45-55 minutes.
  8. Remove to a wire rack. Let stand five or 10 minutes before serving.
